is a high-performance S-Band marine radar system designed for commercial vessels, cargo ships, tankers, offshore support vessels, and SOLAS-class ships.

Operating in the S-Band frequency range, this radar provides superior performance in heavy rain, sea clutter, and adverse weather conditions compared to X-Band systems. S-Band radar is preferred on large commercial vessels for long-range detection and improved target tracking stability.

The FR-2837S features a 12-inch high-brightness color display, advanced signal processing, and powerful transmission output for extended range target acquisition.

This radar is commonly installed as part of dual radar bridge setups (X-band + S-band combination) on commercial vessels.
